CLAAS E-Systems bundles the electronics competence of the CLAAS group for central electronics themes. As a trainee, you will gain insights into the various fields of our development, such as System Engineering, Software Development, Hardware and Testing. You will contribute to working on the infrastructure for Farming 4.0 and develop embedded software platforms for Linux-based control units from communication modules up to terminals. You will fulfil tasks from software architecture to the software design up to implementation. Within agile teams, you will work on exciting research and development projects as well as on technical challenges.     Example project "Implementation of a functional prototype for the initiation of a project application in hardware and software"

    Initial situation:

    • Basic requirements of product managers for the usability of hardware functionality in software

    Objective:

    • Analysis, implementation and project planning for the implementation of the prototype and the potentially following series development projects

    Approach:

    • Screening of customer, system and cost requirements for the potential series product
    • Conception of the system and software architecture
    • Synchronisation with involved product managers from product management, R&D, UI design, UX design and portfolio management
    • Implementation and testing of the hardware and software prototypes
    • Presentation of the results to the management
