New-generation CEBIS with touch display and additional functions

In addition to the tried and tested basic CIS system, CLAAS will in future offer a new generation of the extremely user-friendly CEBIS.

The new CEBIS version will be available for the first time in the new AXION 900 and ARION 600 and 500 tractor series. The new CEBIS system includes the fully redesigned and extremely high-resolution CEBIS terminal with 12-inch touch display.

All new tractor models in the AXION 900 and ARION 600/500 series will now be available with a choice of the new CEBIS or the equally new CIS+ system. ARION 600/500 tractors will also be available in a CIS version. As well as the 12-inch touch display, the new CEBIS system offers a completely new user interface with intuitive DIRECT ACCESS. This equipment option also comes with a multifunction armrest with 10 freely assignable function buttons and the proven CMOTION multifunction control lever which can be operated using just three fingers.

Enter settings simply by touching the screen

The CEBIS system includes a large, 12-inch colour screen with HD resolution which for the first time can be used as a touch display. The logical and familiar structure of the previous CEBIS display has been deliberately retained and transferred to touchscreen operation. However, the clearly arranged user interface with large icons has been completely redesigned to allow simple, intuitive operation by finger pressure. All the key tractor functions can be viewed at a glance and adjusted in just a few steps.

Reach your destination faster with DIRECT ACCESS

The DIRECT ACCESS system provides extremely rapid access to many functions by means of a simplified picture of a tractor on the screen, known as the tractor silhouette. By touching the required function area, such as the PTO or engine, this opens the relevant dialogue window. The hydraulic spool valve settings can also be selected directly from the main screen. The driver can also use the DIRECT ACCESS button on the armrest or the DIRECT ACCESS button on the CEBIS terminal to go straight to the last viewed tractor function in order to carry out further fine-tuning with ease. To ensure that all settings can be entered correctly, even on uneven terrain, all the CEBIS functions can be adjusted in the usual way by means of the rotary/push switch on the armrest. Only two controls (rotary/push switch + ESC button) are needed to open and set all the CEBIS menus and functions.

The settings themselves can be configured by each driver to suit personal preferences and habits. In open dialogue windows, settings can be entered by means of a dial or plus/minus slider. Fine adjustments can also be made. Up to three menu levels are displayed next to each other, making it easy to trace the route back to the starting menu at any time.

Convenient control with three-finger multifunction control lever

In the CEBIS system, the proven CMOTION multifunction control lever guarantees a very relaxed working position. It is integrated into the armrest and operated with just three fingers. All the main functions can therefore be controlled using the thumb and first two fingers. The CEBIS system also comes with a total of ten function buttons which the driver can freely configure with the required ISOBUS or control functions, depending on the implement in use and personal preferences.

Headland sequences for up to 20 implements can be saved

The CEBIS version allows settings for up to 20 different implements to be saved and accessed directly when they are next needed, eliminating the time-consuming process of entering new settings. The CSM headland management sequences are also directly assigned to the current implement so that they can be accessed the next time the implement is used, simply by pressing a button. Furthermore, thanks to the edit function in the CSM headland management system, previously recorded sequences can be easily refined manually without re-recording. This saves time and enables the driver to optimise the settings if the working conditions are different.

New functions with the new CEBIS

The new-generation CEBIS also incorporates many other useful features. The controls for the hydraulic spool valves can be freely assigned to the spool valves so that they are perfectly configured for the job in hand. An opening and closing ramp for each spool valve can also be defined in the new CEBIS terminal. This allows the driver to specify how quickly a spool valve should deliver the maximum pre-set oil flow after activation. The driver can also assign priority to any spool valve. The pre-set oil volume for the selected spool valve then remains almost constant even when other spool valves are in use. This prioritisation option is useful, for example, with continuously operating equipment such as hydraulic motors or pneumatic precision seed drills that need a constant oil flow during operation. The screen for the new CEBIS can also display video images from external cameras such as the CLAAS PROFI CAM.

The new CEBIS system will be available in the new AXION 900 and ARION 600/500 tractors from the start of production.
