Dual-study programme

Pupils at CLAAS.

You want to obtain a university degree? And you still want to have some practical experience? Do you want to earn money but still keep studying? Then the dual-study programme is the right choice for you.

Industrial Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering)

What is the right thing for me: A technical or a business study programme? Should I study business administration or mechanical engineering? – You can't decide? Then you don't have to! On the Industrial Engineering dual-study programme, you will learn about both, business and technical topics.

As an industrial engineer, you are a master of coordination. You establish links between the business and technical departments and coordinate projects. In the times of increasing specialisation and globalised business, experts and leaders who can maintain a view of the big picture, who are not only technical experts but understand the business-related aspects are required. As an industrial engineer, you are equipped for this role in the best possible way.

„CLAAS is much more than just an employer. In addition to exciting tasks in Harsewinkel, you have the opportunity to work anywhere in the world. And completing your study program quickly while gaining your financial independence at the same time is a particularly strong incentive.”

(Hartmut Suschka, student of Industrial engineering dual-study programme)

The Industrial engineer study programme lets you take advantage of an unusually broad range of career development options. The Bachelor of Engineering training programme is a dual-study programme which combines vocational training at the company with a study programme at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg.

After completing the programme, you will be deployed in areas calling for both technical expertise and a knowledge of business administration, such as logistics, purchasing, controlling, project management, production planning and control.

To also give you an insight into the working methods of our other CLAAS companies worldwide, you will spend a three-month practical phase abroad. Possible destinations include all of the countries where we are represented by production and sales companies.

If you have any questions about the training programme or your application, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Birgit Claves.
