Training programmes

Target-orientated training is an essential factor for us to empower our employees and management so they can successfully face the associated demands on communication skills and efficiency in the working area.

CLAAS' success is in our employees' hands. Current challenges and developments are very demanding: Continual changes to our processes and increasing globalisation result in an increase in speed and demand professional behaviour in a national and international dialogue.

We therefore actively support our employees' personal development by offering an extensive training programme. This includes:

  • Consultation and coaching
  • Seminars and training
  • (Management) development programmes

Starting with employee appraisals, where management sets personal targets together with the employee and development perspectives and activities are developed. At the same time, together with the development plans, the high performer's areas of potential are determined qualitatively.

The group-wide further training opportunities cover more than 45 strategically relevant topics and are specifically tailored to meet the needs and requirements of CLAAS employees and management. Specialist and methodological knowledge, as well as personal and inter-cultural skills are shared by working together with selected institutes, experts and universities.

Specialists and management are linked across the group thanks to in-house seminars. This allows CLAAS to be appreciated as an integrated company and, as a result, inter-cultural and inter-disciplinary understanding increases. Inter-cultural differences are explicitly considered and evaluated with the support of standardised instruments over the course of international programmes. An area of further training programmes is especially aimed at the needs of management, in order to professionally accompany these employees in their role. 

In order to share a common understanding of leadership at CLAAS, our basic principles relating to leadership and cooperation are an integral part of our development of management employees. Alongside classic topics such as personnel management, team development, business management and change management, our management employees also receive individual coaching so that they can fulfil their role to the best of their ability within the context of the corporate culture. In addition, experts regularly provide experienced management employees with new insights into current management requirements and offer the basics for a professional and topical exchange via keynote presentations.
